About the Events

NWA Equality brought local drag shows out of nightclubs, making drag accessible to a new audience with Arkansas' first Drag Bingo in 2010. Today, the Dickson Divas have expanded their season to drag brunches, children's storytimes, and other charitable activities, turning the art form into theatrical productions and comedy events and placing their events at the forefront of Northwest Arkansas' social calendar. Some of these shows feature educational themes, special guests, and celebrities like Trixie Mattel, Shangela, Symone, and Maddy Morphosis, but every show is guaranteed to be a glittering time of laughs and fun that help NWA Equality raise necessary funds for our programs and operations.

Drag Bingo

Hosted by legendary Northwest Arkansas entertainers Arin Austin and Taylor Madison Monroe, along with their team of queens, this original and lively event directly supports each of the NWA Equality’s support programs. Through lively musical productions and zany shenanigans, since 2010 this annual comedy show has grown to be one of our most popular events.

Ozarks Dine & Drag

You asked for it, and in 2019 we delivered. The Ozarks Dine & Drag is your Sunday family-friendly program of brunch or dinner, booze, and bouffants with some of Arkansas' finest drag performers.

The Arkansas Alumni Drag Brunch is organized and hosted annually in the autumn by the University of Arkansas Pride Society at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. This brunch funds the Pride in Education Scholarship and the Pride Alumni Society Scholarship for LGBTQ students at the University of Arkansas. Northwest Arkansas Equality continues to support these scholarships and events.
