Business DescriptionParents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is the largest organization uniting families and allies with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ). PFLAG National provides support to the PFLAG network of 400 chapters across the United States, with more than 200,000 members and supporters. PFLAG-NWA promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer persons, their families and friends through support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides the opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity. PFLAG's Northwest Arkansas chapter meets at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale, Arkansas, and at the Centerton branch of the Bank of Gravette.
