CAR is home to the Lucille Marie Hamilton Youth Center, Arkansas’ first and only LGBTQ and ally youth drop-in center located in Little Rock. CAR’s programs include: Diverse Youth for Social Change (DYSC) for LGBTQ/ally youth ages 12-22; Revoluci√≥n LGBTQ, a program focused on the LGBTQ+ Latinx community in Arkansas; Safe Schools Project, proves workshops for school administrators, counselors, and educators on the challenges and concerns of LGBTQ students, same-sex parents, and co-workers. AR Affiliate National GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) Network, providing resources for GSA’s and helping students establish GSAs in their schools.
